Global Finance has announced the winners of its 26th annual World’s Best Banks awards, including the 2024 World’s Best Frontier Market Bank, UBA.
“United Bank for Africa has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving both domestic and international businesses and promoting financial inclusivity, even amid the slower economic growth of 2023. The bank’s effective risk management, conservative lending practices, and strategic internal investments have resulted in impressive financial performance, distinguishing it in the frontier markets,” said Joseph Giarraputo, founder and editorial director of Global Finance.
“For over thirty years, Global Finance’s Best Bank awards have helped corporate and banking leaders identify financial partners who excel in their services and show adaptability and innovation in a changing market.”
The winners were chosen based on their performance over the past year, as well as their reputation and management excellence. Global Finance’s editorial board made the selections with input from corporate financial executives, analysts, and bankers globally. The evaluation included both submissions from banks for Global Finance’s 2024 awards programs and independent research to assess various objective and subjective factors.
Global Finance will present its 26th annual World’s Best Bank Awards at the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C. in October.
